Default alive or default dead?
The idea comes from Paul Graham. Most runway calculators give you a number: cash divided by monthly burn equals months left. Useful, but it ignores the thing that actually decides your fate, which is growth. If your revenue is climbing fast enough to cover your costs before the cash runs out, you are default alive. If it is not, you are default dead, even if today feels fine.
This calculator projects your current revenue growth against a steady burn and tells you which side of that line you are on. It is a simplification. Real life has hiring, churn, and bad months. But the question is the one every founder should be able to answer cold.
Numbers are only half the picture. Before you pour runway into building, validate the idea itself with Olune against live Reddit signals, competitor data, and real search demand.
