You have capital to deploy.
A list cannot tell you which one survives.
The reading is done. What is missing is evidence from outside your own head, and the time to go and get it. We cut the shortlist against your real constraints, test the strongest two with real buyers, and if the honest answer is walk away, that is the answer you get.
● Limited engagements · replies within two business daysThe free validator is enough, until it is not.
Olune tells you, free and in about eight minutes, whether one specific idea holds up. That is genuinely enough for most people, and it is where most people should stop.
It stops being enough when the amount on the table makes being wrong personal. Not because the money is gone, but because eighteen months are. At that point the useful thing is not a faster answer. It is someone doing the fieldwork with you who is willing to tell you to walk away.
How it runs
§02 / Four steps · no fluff- 01
Your constraints, not a list
Capital, timeline, city, what you're actually good at, and what you refuse to do. Half of most shortlists dies here, because those options were never available to you in the first place.
- 02
We go and look
Complaint mining where your buyers already talk, the competitors quietly winning, what the demand data does and doesn't show, and unit economics at your price point rather than a generic one.
- 03↯ the crux
Real buyers test the strongest two
Interviews, a smoke test, or a concierge run, whichever the idea actually needs. Almost nobody does this before committing money. It changes the answer most often.
- 04
A written go or kill on each
The reasoning, the evidence, the assumptions still standing. Every number is sourced or labelled an assumption. If none of them hold, that's what the document says.
When this is the wrong thing to buy.
You want someone to confirm a decision you've already made.
You want a business plan for a bank or a visa. That's a document, not a decision.
You want the deliverable more than the answer. If a kill verdict would annoy you, this will annoy you.
Your question is small enough that the free validator answers it. Use that instead.
Two or more describe you? Do not send the form.
Run the free validator, keep your moneyScoped to the decision, not a package.
Engagements run $5k to $50k and usually take one of three shapes. Every one still gets its own scope and number, and if it is not worth doing I will say so, which costs you nothing.
- Shape 01
Cut the list
from $5kYour constraints against the full shortlist, plus the desk fieldwork: complaint mining, competitor map, demand data, unit economics at your price point. A written go or kill on each candidate.
- Shape 02★ most picked
Field test
from $15kEverything in Cut the list, then the strongest two tested with real buyers, by interview or smoke test. The part almost nobody does before committing money, and the part that changes the answer most often.
- Shape 03
Concierge run
up to $50kThe full loop: deliver the offer by hand to real paying customers before anything is built. Evidence strong enough to commit the money on, or a kill you can trust.
A sparring partner, not a cheerleader.
I read every enquiry personally and reply within two business days, usually with a couple of questions before I say whether I can help. I built Olune because most startups die from no market need, and the fieldwork that catches it is the work everyone skips. If it turns out you do not need this, I will tell you that too.
